Start Your Day Right – Morning Exercise Routine

Do you feel so weak when the day ends? Do you feel that your energy is inadequate throughout the day? This must have something to do with your mornings. If you want to start your day right, you should do a morning exercise routine for at least 30 minutes before going out to your school or workplace.

You might ask what exercises you should do and what how can these help you start a wonderful day. Well, we gave that a thought in advance and we are going to tell you exactly what you want to know. Here are some ways where you can easily do morning routines without taking too much of your time and energy for a whole day. Remember, it is advised that you take 30 minutes of your day and allot it for exercise.

First of all, when you wake up, don’t rush into standing because you might get dizzy and fall (and suffer injuries – tsk, tsk). When your body remains in a resting position, your blood circulation also becomes slow. The rapid changing from a resting position to standing position makes your blood pressure drop and you will feel dizzy all of a sudden. In technical terms, this is called orthostatic hypotension or the drop of blood pressure due to a rapid change in position.

After you have stabilized your system, it is important to stretch your muscles so that the blood will flow richly into them. That way, you can avoid getting cramp or muscle strain during your daily exercise.

The next thing you are going to do is to start light. There are various push and pull routines that you can do to warm up your body. Apart from that, you can also warm up by doing a whole-body exercise such as jogging in place or jumping jacks. However, if you want to really get to the part where your sweat will pour out already, just do a combination of push-pull routines with jumping jacks alternatively and incorporate some push-ups or crunches in between the sets.

Heavier workout deserves good equipment. If you want to make your workout better, we would suggest that you do a couple of Iron Gym exercises or even do some plyometrics routines. Iron Gym exercises involves abs and torso development while plyometrics involve a lot of jumping – as it is specifically designed to tone your lower extremities.

Starting with light exercises followed with specific workout routines is a good way to start your day. Just don’t forget to cool down after you do these routines. Cooling down is as important as warming up since it is a way of returning your body’s metabolic rate to its normal level. When you do not cool down properly, you might feel good the rest of the day but you also might feel sore the following morning.

Of course, if you really want to start your day right, incorporate your daily exercise with a healthy breakfast. You may include foods that accelerate fat burning in your diet, like a healthy amount of lean meat, fruits, and vegetables, and make sure that it is just enough to power up your day. Going out without breakfast may lead you to eat more during lunch time. On the other hand, if you eat too much breakfast, you would feel sleepy all throughout the morning because your stomach would use most of your energy in digesting your food.

With proper exercise and a healthy diet, you wouldn’t need to do extra workout, get surgery, or take weight loss pills to look good. It is just enough that you use your self-discipline and perseverance to get a healthy figure and to start your mornings the right way!
